Hi there! I am making yet another attempt to build a homepage here, so please bear with me. I know that right now it looks a little more 'basic' than I'd like, but hey...first I need to figure out how to do it the simple way before I try getting too complex and then get in over my head. :)

A little bit about me. I was born and raised in Terrace, B.C., which is located in northwestern British Columbia, near the coast. Terrace is very famous for its beautiful lakes, parks, fishing, and other recreational activities. Most notably (I think) is the Shames Mountain ski area, which is located 45 mins. out of town. I've been up there skiing several times, and took a few pictures on top of the t-bar. Check them out here. Upon graduation from high school, I went to Douglas College, which is located in New Wesminster, B.C. and entered the Interpreter Training Program. For those of you who don't know, that is an American Sign Language Interpreter Training Program, and upon receiving my diploma in '93, I have been working as a sign language interpreter in the educational system for the past 6 years now. While I do enjoy it, I am looking into beginning a new career. One that provides more stability, and $$$. ;-) Unfortunately, with my job I tend to move around quite a bit, as I'm usually only hired on a yearly contract basis. This makes it difficult to settle in one place, which is something I'd like to do. If you'd like to check out my resume and see all the different places I've worked, feel free to take a look.

I currently live in Windsor, ON. with my boyfriend, Patrick. We've been together for a year now, and both plan on moving back out west this July (probably to Calgary, AB.). I do miss home and my family, so moving back out west is fine by me. :) Patrick has been in the Canadian Army for the past 10 years now, and has even served with the U.N. in Bosnia for a year. Here's a nice picture of him near a waterfall while he was over there.

When driving from Terrace to Windsor in my trusty (haha!) ol' Jeep, we stopped in Banff along the way, which was one of the most beautiful places I've ever been in Canada. I cannot believe that in all the years I've lived in B.C., I've never been there. Here are some beautiful pictures that I took while I was there.
